Unlike conventional robots that rely on rigid mechanical parts and electric motors, Protoclone utilizes over 1,000 artificial muscles, known as Myofibers, to replicate human-like movements. These Myofibers are mesh tubes containing balloons filled with hydraulic fluid, allowing the robot to perform fluid and lifelike Motions. 

The robot's skeletal structure is designed to mirror the 206 bones found in the human body, with joints connected by artificial ligaments and tendons. This anatomical accuracy enables Protoclone to achieve over 200 degrees of freedom in movement, closely resembling the flexibility and range of motion of a human being.

Advanced Sensory Integration

To interact effectively with its environment, Protoclone is equipped with an array of sensors and cameras. It features four depth cameras that provide visual feedback, 320 pressure sensors to detect touch and force, and 70 sensors in its joints to monitor movement and positioning. This sensory integration allows the robot to adjust its actions in real-time, enhancing its ability to perform tasks with precision.
